September 7, 2011
WARFEST.COM
WORLDWIDE ONLINE MUSIC COMPETITION
A MUSICIAN AND FAN OWNED BUSINESS!!!
Warfest is currently developing the biggest concert promoter network in the world by helping promoters set up their own music business. Warfest.com will be one the biggest producers of concerts in the world due to our key feature that pays people to social network. Our concert promoters make money through the following ways:
Music Mixers $$$$: Create your own music mixer events at bars, recording studios, hotel suites, coffee shops, music venues or at your private home. The best place to have these events at are bars, restaurants or music venues (preferrably all ages). Most venues will give you a percentage of bar/food sales or a an upfront fee. For example if your music mixer draws 100 people and everyone buys two drinks, the bar made an additional $1,000 that they need to split with you. Add other bands to the music mixer to perform, invite record labels, recording studios, friends, fans, sponsors and promote a charity are good ways to maintian a consistent draw and a good music mixer. For example: warfest is currently developing and having events all over the world. WARFEST will help with negotiations (if necessary) and assist with graphic design for flyers/posters, assist with sponsors, assist with musicians and help promote your event through our worldwide network.
Venue $$$$: After you have found a venue, register the venue under your personal warfest invite code. Let the owner know that all musicians that perform at the venue on other nights should register on the website using their code. The owner would get $10 commisision per band that registers and the promoter would get a percentage of that. Most music venues average about 20-40 musicians per week (depending on the venue). That is some good residual money coming in every week.
Musicians $$$$: After you have a date booked, invite musicians to perform through social networking sites such as facebook, myspace and reverb nation. Each musician that agrees ask them to register on warfest.com using the free trial (if they want) to post their songs, videos and events. After they see how good your events are ask them to upgrade their account to a paid account and you will make $10 commisision per band that registers plus the down line commission.
Fans $$$$: After you have established your events and money is coming in. Utilize some of the money to pay for national bands to headline. However, keep the free admission price to get in. Make all fans that come to register on warfest.com in order to get in free. They can use the free trial if they like the first time. The concert promoter will make $5 commssion per fan that registers.
Hire Concert Promoters $$$$: Register other concert promoters from surrounding cities under your invite code and make a profit on all of the above (except bar sales).
Musician/Sponsor Interviews $$$$$ Do a review of your event and other local events/festivals in your community. Contact the promoters, bands, sponsors and charities ahead of time to ask if they want to be photographed and interviewed at their show for warfest.com. Most will say yes since they are getting free promotion. If you are at a music festival and there are 10 bands performing and 10 sponsors for example. You would make $10 per band/sponsor when they register and when they invite their friends on Facebook etc..you get a percentage of everything they bring in. Let the promoters know that we will promote their event for free on warfest.com.
National Band Registration $$$$: When you do a review of an event, contact the manager/agent of the band ahead of time and ask if you can interview them. Most will say yes since they are getting free promotion. Most national bands have millions of fans and with one click of the button they can send millions of people to your invite code. Gettting an interview with a national band is a big prize and you will also get more interest from media for your story. Let the national bands know that it would be good if we set up a page for them on warfest.com so people can see their latest videos and music when they read the article. Warfest will also pay to upgrade their page for them.
Magazine/Newspaper Submissions $$$$: Prior to doing a review of a big event, contact the local newspapers and magazines and let them know you are doing a review of the event and would like to submit it to them after. Each story picked up could pay $100-$1000 depending on how big the story is.
Form a Team $$$: Place an add on Craigslist in your area and invite several free lance journalists and register them under your invite code. Form a schedule of events in your territory for your team to attend. The more events your team attends, the more money your team makes.
